What We’re Serving

The menu at Calle Tacos features a variety of traditional Mexican fare including burritos, nachos, tortas, quesadillas and of course, tacos. Customers can choose from a selection of proteins, toppings, and sauces for a customized meal that will suit any taste. The homemade salsas and secret family recipes came from the owners’ roots, from their hometowns of Jalisco and Distrito Federal, Mexico.

What Makes Us Different

We don’t make it till you order it. We take LA’s preferred food to the custom built level and serve it straight off the street and into your mouth. Inside the restaurant, patrons will find an actual taco truck permanently parked on Hollywood Boulevard, garage doors that open to the street, and walls that showcase murals of pop culture’s most iconic people and places. The taco truck itself is located inside the restaurant, offering patrons a unique and inclement weather-proof means of enjoying their meals.

Our Methods

We don’t use any trans fats, only soybean oil. The Al Pastor is marinated in achiote, a spice that gives the pork-rich flavors and color. We buy our meat fresh daily from local farmers. We also make our Horchata (sweet rice water) from scratch and our Jamaica (Hibiscus water) is organic and healthy. The flavors of Mexico have been passed down from generation to generation gaining perfection every step of the way.

Who We Are

Each item is made under the watchful eye of husband and wife team, Dorian and Javier Villaseñor, who have been in business together for six years. The Villaseñors come from a long line of restaurateurs; with eleven brothers known as the Ortiz family, these siblings own and operate over 25 restaurants and share a passion for fresh, simple food with bold flavors.
